✨A little bit about me

My name is Carolina, and I’m a senior Contract WordPress developer based in Round Rock and Austin, Texas. I help marketing agencies, web designers and create teams deliver fast, secure, and reliable WordPress websites. Over the years, I’ve worked on everything from multisite WordPress networks to custom plugins and themes, with a strong focus on security, performance, and accessibility.

From my base in Round Rock, Texas, I collaborate remotely with agencies, businesses, and Web designers and creative teams across the U.S., including clients in California, Chicago and Mexico. Whether you need a technical development partner or a WordPress expert to build, maintain, or rescue your website, I can help.

After years of working on complex projects, I wanted to build a small studio where careful engineering, mentorship, and long-term thinking are part of the culture. That is when Calli Web Services grew from that experience.

Web Development (WordPress & CMS)

When it comes to websites, I specialize in WordPress development — not just the simple stuff, but the complex projects that require extra care. Over the years I’ve worked on everything from custom plugins and themes to hardening sites for security and making them stable under heavy use. I’m comfortable working with a wide variety of hosting providers, from traditional cPanel hosts like A2, SiteGround, and WP Engine to Pantheon, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-based setups.

I also manage the full development lifecycle: setting up development and production environments, automating delivery pipelines, and implementing automated testing to catch issues before they ever reach your clients. Whether it’s fixing a broken install, scaling a multisite network, or building something from scratch, I make sure WordPress projects are delivered securely, smoothly, and with best practices baked in.

Web App Development (Symfony & Custom Solutions)

For clients who need more than a CMS can offer, I develop custom web applications using Symfony. This allows me to design and deliver tailored solutions that go beyond the limitations of off-the-shelf software. My background in PHP and MySQL means I can build applications that are not only powerful but also efficient, reliable, and aligned with each client’s unique needs.

I follow modern engineering practices, including automated deployments and CI/CD pipelines, to ensure projects run smoothly in production and remain easy to maintain over time. I collaborate with agencies and clients on a contract and project basis. That means you can assign me specific tasks or full projects, and I’ll deliver them reliably — but I don’t take on full-time roles.

In addition to my own work, I also mentor students who assist me on certain projects.
